I've heard there are some obscure secrets in those games but I have the impression just finding regular bonus rooms at least has more of a tell to it than in DKC1. I'm hoping the secrets in DKC 2/3 are generally not as obtuse to locate, and more like the modern DKC games in that respect. The secrets were a bit too obscure IMO, so we used a guide often to give each other hints on where to look. ![]() We just recently replayed DKC to 101% the game, and found it to be much more complex, creative and involved than I'd remembered. We enjoyed it a lot but I remember thinking DKC1 was fun but leaps and bounds behind DKC 2/3. We played the original trilogy in 2014 or so when it came to Wii U VC. ![]() I only really played Land as a kid so my experience with the DKC series began in earnest with Returns in 2010, save for playing a bit of the original DKC here and there.
